Dick Franklin
Recently returned to New Zealand after a distinguished career in General Management positions within the steel industry predominantly in South East Asia. Dick has received extensive internationally extensive recognised safety management training, including specialist training with DuPont in the USA. More importantly Dicks approach to safety and environmental management within the organisations he has worked with and for, have delivered positive safety, productivity and profitability gains to compare with world class organisations. Dick has been seconded to manage or participate in several international safety projects. During 1990’s Dick’s outstanding achievements for safety management outcomes in BHP’s Indonesian operations were formally recognised by the Indonesian Government as Indonesia’s safest employer.
