Ant Lagan
Mobile HR Systems was established five years ago by Ant Lagan, who has lived and worked in Tauranga for twelve years. For eight of those years Ant was in partnership in a successful franchise business employing energetic, temporary staff. It was during this time that Ant felt a strong desire to increase his understanding of employment and health and safety legislation and consequently he joined business support associations and employer lobby groups including the Employers and Manufacturers Association. After selling his franchise business, Ant took up a position as regional account manager for the Employers and Manufacturers Association. With the Association, Ant undertook extensive training in employment relations and health and safety management. While at the Association Ant saw that many employers had good intentions with regard to employment and health and safety systems implementation, however, few succeeded in getting around to it. And so Mobile HR Systems Limited was born. As Ant sees it, every business should have an HR Manager but not all can afford to employ one full-time. With Mobile HR services, all businesses can have a dedicated HR Manager on call.
